Hello book club members,
My name is Pri Ekanayake and I’m really excited to lead the discussion groups for Mayor Buddy’s Book Club this spring. Growing up in Orlando, I loved spending Saturdays at the downtown library with my family. Now that I have moved back to town, working as a private tutor, it’s great spend Monday afternoons talking about wonderful books.
In our first meeting on Monday, we talked about the first three chapters. Here’s some of the discussion questions:
-How did Creel end up at the dragon cave? What did we think of her family (especially the aunt)?
-How did she get the slippers? What color were they?
-What did we think the slippers did?
Hope you can join us for next time. Please try to read to page 70. Thank you!
